What is the availability toggle in the mobile app?

The availability toggle in the mobile app is your way of letting contractors know that you are open for work. Even if you see that there are no jobs in your area, it's still worth letting the app know you are looking for a job.

What happens after I let the app know that I am available for work?

Once you let us know in the mobile app that you are available for work, your profile will be placed in front of contractors. Contractors use Buildforce to find professionals through another platform similar to the app that you're currently on.

There are instances where contractors are looking for workers to fill last-minute requests. These jobs might not show up on your job board which is why it helps to let contractors know when you're available for work.

Why does my availability automatically turn off after 5 days?

When you let contractors know you're available for work, your profile gets displayed in a list that they are looking at. As time passes, other professionals like you are setting their availability in the app too. This moves your profile lower on the list and your profile could run into the chance of not being seen.

This is why we turn off your availability automatically after 5 days and check back with you.
